East Matunick Beach Day - Friday July 22

Well the GT/LCC Youth Reunion started with a beautiful day at East Matunick State Beach...
Here is Paul & Jodi Wirtzburger (LaLiberte) soaking up the sun....
And their children Gavin and Gage enjoying the beach sand. They don't really get much of that in Texas! Gavin is fearless...he ran right into the water, and a wave wiped him out. After that he made sure he had daddy with him when wiping out...;-) Gage is a little shy at first, but bring him a snack and he will warm right up to you!

Ezra Crino was really enjoying himself in the surf that was low tide. He also really new how to make friends with anyone who dug a hole...he really kept his parents busy meeting new people on the beach!

Can anyone tell us if this is Pastor Steve just watching his kids swim, or looking for the youth he forgot on Block Island on one of our biking trips? LOL...

...And here is Chris Fooks (Rogers) and her youngest son Cole watching something very interesting happening in the water. It must be something exciting, because they didn't even realize that their picture was being taken...

It also was really good to see Michelle LaLiberte! She got to come to the beach, even though she was working (as a nanny, of course). Her brother-in-law seems to be eyeing that sandwich she is holding from afar...

Here you see Robin Enos (Perrault for all you old-timers) in a deep theological discussion with Chris Fooks. I think they are discussing whether Scarborough or East Matunick is better...someone will have to post the answer when it is decided.

Here is Renee Wilmouth's friend Brian Felty. We think he is pondering the meaning of life..or just trying not to get to sunburned!

...and another picture of Steve Crino contemplating his big toe! Or deciding whether or not he was going to go in the water...

...and here is the world famous Cole Fooks! He even has his own blog www.fasterthan.blogspot.com , and you can read all about him there....

...Here we have Aaron Fooks showing us just how happy you can be with a bunch of water and some sand! He also has a blog of his own www.wwllchampions.blogspot.com if you want to read about his life.

Renee Wilmouth...just chillin out! She was very instrumental in putting this whole thing together, and our resident photographer for the weekend...Thanks Renee!

We spent the whole day just catching the waves....

And playing in the sand...

It was so nice to see everyone!!!! :) Joe and I enjoyed ourselves at the banquet and service. It was amazing to see how many people have changed and how God is working in their lives. Let's do this again!

Yes...it was awesome to see you guys! We feel so separated, and yet we live in the same state! Let's all try and keep in touch...that will probably be the best way to plan on "doing this again"
